Few things approach the beauty of a strutting peacock. We're lucky enough to have two zoos in the local area, one of which has about 30-40 of these beautiful birds. They are relatively tame and can be approached with ease. This fellow generously posed for a good 20 minutes of shooting. The colors you see on screen come nowhere near showing the true glory of his display.  Never miss a chance to see and photograph one of these magnificent creatures.
