This old water mill is now an Inn, located in Flatrock,NC. The odd thing here is that the trace and spillways were made of handmixed concrete, Time, water and the elements have just about worn the structures away, but the main mill house is in very good condition even though the mill is no longer operable.The rear wall of the building uses part of the 20 ft tall rock dam as its foundation. This is a very picturesque place to spend a night or for vacation lodging.
