This huge oak tree grows in a vacant lot near my home. It seemed like such a natural place to let the King of Red Oak reside. This image is part of an ongoing series of experimental effects which I've been exploring. Some 23 subtly adjusted layered objects make up this one effect. Each adding some specific aspect of the desired results.
