The
previous version of this image mentioned "descreening during
the Scan". It is always a good idea to do as much of the intial
image correction in the scanner panel so you have more options after
the scan arrives in PhotoImpact.. This is especially true of images
where "Moire" is likely to be a factor. Moire is the unwanted
pattern which you get when you've scanned a printed image.
A good Scanner control panel will offer several options for descreening
various screen densities.
