The most difficult type of image to work is the repair of a damaged antique photo. My friend Gil sent me this hand colored image of his grandmother, which was the only large photo of her youth in existence. Much was done to bring it back, although the texturing of the image made it necessary to leave some things alone. Photo restoration is still one of my favorites, but knowing when to stop can be the largest challenge of all.
