Part of the fun of digital imaging is the ability to fool the viewer's eye by altering "reality" just enough to make them look twice and try to sort out just what it is that's out of kilter. The mind expects to see things in a certain way and quickly becomes entertained as it attempts to sort out this new reality you've created to deceive it. Compositing images using a wide range of techniques and digital tricks often makes for some rather interesting results, as you'll see below. These images are some of my favorite "Deceptions" that I've created over the years.
